Why was this different to other design contests?

- It was weekly. Each week we picked a shortlist and then internally voted a small number of these to the Grand Final. The the next week began.

- There was no voting. We asked people to comment the entries instead to get discussion going. We only allowed voting on the Grand Finalists at the very end.

- We spread the prizes out. We had 1,2,3 and a lot of additional panel prizes for community spirit, branding excellence etc. See the Prizes page.

- We encourages collaboration amongst designers. We even had a prize for best design team.

- We published everything that came in.
