Cintiq 21 UX TabletWe are very happy to announce that Wacom is going to support and sponsor the competition. They are giving 5 prizes for the Open Logo Project! Which is:

1 x Cintiq 21UX Interactive Pen Display and 4 x Intuos3 A4 Pen Tablets.

The Cintiq 21UX is a 21-inch interactive display (worth 3,000 Euros) — a perfect instrument for graphic designers who like to draw and work directly “on the surface”. It will be the grand prize of our competition and given to the winner, additionally to the money. The Intuos3 Pen Tablets (worth 500 Euro each) will be given to 4 participants of the shortlist.
So, take your chance and help us — your contribution now is worth up to 5,000 Euros in cash and about 5,000 Euros in special prizes!

Thanks for the feedback we´ve received already. Right after the start we have more than 200 visitors, about 30 registrations and 11 people voted — and it seems there are some open questions to explain:

What is the Open Logo Project?
To make it short: We are creating a new logo and a corporate design for Spreadshirt. Send us your inspiration and ideas, as well as concrete drafts. The prize for your contribution is worth 5,000 Euros (~6,000 $) in hard cash. No tricks here. Except this one: if we get excellent drafts from more people, we will split up the money up to 10 winners. Find more details in the briefing.

How to contribute?
We´ve twisted this blog engine a little bit, so you can also post messages here (after registration). Just upload your draft and give us a sample of how you want Spreadshirt to look like in the future. Of course, we also will talk about fonts, color atmosphere, and a style that fits to Spreadshirt. From time to time we will call a vote and ask you how you like a draft, a specific design or logo, or a certain font.

Btw — don´t forget to vote if we need a redesign in your opinion after all.
