concept:
The signet is a word/image brand. By merging different types the customer get the image of a unique and various brand - the customer has a deeper association than he actually sees. the overblending also symbolizes the variety of possibilities in printing and designing with spreadshirt.

the coloring is fresh, young and eye catching. A needful irritation is created by the combination of these colors and the “old fashioned” signets and the claim.

First of all i would implement a welcome page which divides your customers into two groups: those who sell and those who buy. Now that you know in what your customer is interested, you could customize the logo, colorsheme and claims on this information. I come up with this simple and clean version cause i wanted it to work in smaller sizes. So i chose the Forgotten Futurist in combination with the Verdana. For the colorscheme i selected a green for sellers (green dollars) and a blue for buyers. So your main colors used in your CI would be white, black, green and blue (including gradients between those colors). Fonts: Forgotten Futurist, Verdana

The task is to create a unique visualisation of spreadshirts idea and its branch. The Spreadshirt GmbH is an young and innovative enterprise offering two sections of individual textile printing: First, in starting up, it is a rare possibility for young people
to design and distribute clothes for a great mass of customers. As second, probably the more profitable use, spreadshirt gives international companys the opportunity to outsource their merchandise products. This is the unique selling propose (USP) that has to be communicated by the logo and the corporate design. A clear design bundled with an expression of high qualitiy is important. Additionally, the feeling and the emotional side of spreadshirt has to be presented in the whole appearence. Though, I choose a clear type (Zapf Humanist 601, including 8 versions), that symbolises with smart bends positivity and quality. The italic version for the name expresses speed and an expanded roman type for the slogan builds a harmonic base. The combination with joyous colours (HKS 16/HKS 7), that contain as a single-colour reproduction a difference in the gradiation of 100% (orange: 37,5% K, red: 75% K), fits to the designated properties. The meaning of ’spread’, excluding any neagtive terms, is shown best by an abstract emblem of a sun. Reducing the logo to the icon affords usability for prints with minimal space, in the browser-row as
a fav-icon or on packages. To spread all over the world is the aim of spreadshirts customers. Nothing else than a sun does this. My logo complies to the technical requirements for screen, crossmedia and plotts: No colour gradients, no pics, no details, hard cutted outlines. To support the internationality of spreadshirt, I create a new slogan. ‘new world merchandise’ explains the USP very straight and defines a new way of commercial action. Typed in small letters, the slogan connects the service with the medium of the world wide web, which is an important component of spreadshirts producing.
