Update: 06/03/2006
So, let’s make a little description of this logo…
By this work, I first wanted to do a simple shaped logo, clear, and easy recognizable (as nike for example). I just made a single color version to accentuate the impact. Spreadshirt do not just product shirts and wear, but all of their products are customizable, “infinitely”. So, I decided not to try to draw a shirt-like logo and try to think about the deepest aspect their products.
A infinite customisation is possible with spreadshirt. Moreover, the international aspect which was wanted, is showed by the logotype itself: You can see crossroads in this logo (as freeways interchanges > http://www.un.org/french/Depts/dpi/Abidjan99/edu_cotedivoire/autoroute.gif) and the symmetry could evoke europe and america for example. The spreadshirt “S” is implicitly reminded by the two loops, and their crossing. Turn your head 90° counterclockwise and a S will apprear. But that’s not the main goal of the logo, it’s just a way to try to tell how the company “sounds” by viewing. (it’s hard to express what I really feel in English, sorry…)
Of course, this logo ils easily recognizable even if it was tiny. It’s also very a intriguing logo which brings to the customer a curiosity felling.
I think that such a logo would works for years. It’s very clean, not etablished in a kind of “fashion” and it could be possible to put it on a lot of different supports (labels, cards, faxes, webpages, trucks…) The bold aspect allows to customize the logo according to the season, the fashion and more (> the second uploaded image)…
I’ve chosen Helvetica bold as typo. This font is very pure and the “condensed” aspect is very contemporary. Moreover, in spite of it’s 30 years age, this font works always a lot. The width of the logo is in the same proportion of the font, to make a harmonious feeling and the claim is in Helvetica regular.
I would say more about my work, but my poor english level slows me a lot… Don’t hesitate if you have any questions!
And I repeat! Forget the “co”pread”co”shirt! It just tried that for fun!
cheers!

nice idea, but “spreadsirt” is hardly readable …
copreadcohirt…?
the other version is much better.
nice one, like the idea of infinty.
like it very very much, but i also think its hard to read. maybe without the “8″ in the wordlogo spreadshirt (or just the first “s”) is better? alternative: write spread+shirt top down.
vraiment du très beau travail tout ça!!!! great work!
the version in the left corner (without “copreadcohirt”) works better.
Yes I know. The upper version was “just for fun”, thanks for all the comments!

And you can find loads of similar logos by searching "infinite" in google images. I’m also sure that 90% of the submissions of this contest are close to still existing logos. Do you know how many companies do the whole world counts? I hope that was a bad joke, It’s kinda disappointing. Moreover, the main aspect is not the same at all. This one is too complex. "Less is more"…
that’s not your best draft
My point of view :
Infinite concept is an idea but i don’t see the customization in. I see more a repeat symbole than an infinite customzation. Progress and innovation are absent in a such design…Sorry but it’s a little boring me.
By the way your other draft confirm your talent.
