SNew Version based on the ‘S’ that is part of my first logo (on the shirt).
Im not sure about the year. Volker

Update
In the first place my aim was to create a compact logo with a simple shape that could be used in one colour and,
as whole, would be regarded as timeless. the information about the founding year was supposed to give it a respectable
touch or certain value (i hope you know what i mean). i know this sounds quite like the ideal logo and anybody could
say that about his/her draft but thats it. volker (evil plonker)

Technically not user friendly when being use in small applications

what means ‘user friendly’? i can even read this font in 7pt and there will be no line thinner than a hairline which is the ’smallest’ printable line.
the sample picture is an automatically generated thumbnail and not high quality. yes, the contrast could also be better.

i take the surf logo comment as a compliment because it shows that it has some style.

    sorry evil plonker,
I didn’t made myself clear. what i meant was when you attach “spreadshirt”, “since200? on to a logo image you are restricting yourself the flexibility in the application sense.

    however, it’s a great emblem.
