the logohello there, this is my design for the OLP. The logo shows the Spreadshirt process in a very simple way: from the first idea in the head –> through the process of production –> to the finished product with the original idea appearing on it.

I chose a nice blue and a nice red for the logo, but I think it has a strong character in black and white as well. For the text logo I used the simple and massive Helvetica Black font - making a little play with the letter ‘i’ - where the red dot from the logo comes back again.

I also designed 2 posters which show some examples of using these graphics. Hope you’ll like them!
cheers,
Paal

oh, i hope it’s not abusing… well, thanks anyway for the comment - otherwise i would have never thought of it.

but, to be honest, i had a ‘british’ feeling when i was looking at the final colours (or french, or american, etc.), but it didn’t really bother me at all :)

    bkohl,
thanks for the comment on the ‘i’, i keep that in mind!

By far my favourite I gave it a 5 before I even realised there were more images. I even like the i. As for abusing MOD symbols I think improving. Not that my first reaction was MOD targets anyway.

I love what you did to the posters as well.

I was going to give up anyway, I,m C**p at logos, now I definetely am.

    This should win!

nice idea, but the typo must be less black.
You must choose a rounded typo, like the logo is.

pretty much, only thing i miss on this great submission is something that really says ’spread’ after the detailed presented first steps… but would work fine like it is.

    dankeschön!
i just wanted to keep it as simple as possible :) actually, i would rather use the black and white versions mainly.

    i like it too!
    its clever and clean.

    but:
i fear that non-designers dont understand the idea.
i dont know if spreadshirt custumomers are allways “designers”, but my mother for example woundnt get the clue, i think (sorry mom!).
maybe too cryptic for a “worldwide” company…
    but anyway, very nice!

thanks dan bang for the comment!
i think that it is not a tragedy, if someone doesn’t get the idea at first - it would be impossible (and also useless) to create a logo that clearly explains spreadshirt’s profile in every detail. That wouldn’t be a good logo, i guess.

    keep it simple!
