News from the Roll-Out: Meet the Agencies (!)

At the moment we are working out both submissions further so that we can have a better comparison - and finally a decision about the new logo before Christmas. Since our graphic guys are busy with xmas (not only decorating the office) we decided to do this step with support of an agency.

We’ve asked a few agencies from Germany and the UK, some of them knew spreadshirt and already worked with us before, others didn’t. Here is our choice, and the title of the blogpost is right: we actually picked 2 agencies :)

One of them is beau bureau from cologne. A small Design Bureau, led by Katja and Stephanie, focussed on Corporate Design. For their work they for example have been awarded by the EULDA 2006, and the iF Design Award. As you can see on their website they are into T-Shirts - but haven’t heard of spreadshirt before. That’s actually one reason why we picked them: we want to have a fresh look on the submissions and on us. Last week I visited them for a short briefing. We are very excited to work with beau bureau!

The other agency is the Leipzig-based kocmoc.net (say “kosmos”). Grown to a graphic design agency with more than 20 employees, their roots lie in corporate design. They work for both local Leipzig clients like the Grassi Museums or Schauspiel Leipzig - but as well for biggies like Deutsche Postbank or Volkswagen. We were really rocked by their “booth” (it was rather a room) at the Designer’s Open, that’s why we asked them if they would be interested in working with us at our winners. And now we look forward to their ideas regarding our OLP winners.

As you can see on the foto/s, we did some briefing talks with both already, and we will keep you up to date with the progress .. expect the first results in the coming weeks!
