After internal discussion two strong favourites emerged…..

1. Your own LOGO by MuamerDESIGN

A very popular entry internally and externally.

2. Bubble Label by Ikou

Many great versions of this showing Manuels execution and evolution. Yes its a speech bubble, but it also fits the language that we talk about Spreadshirt products “wearing your personality” “shaping your enviroment” “wear what your thinking” “what does your shirt say about you?” etc. As a concept its close to Think Spreadshirt Update, but we agreed that its different enough in execution to warrant its finalist place.

They’ll join the rest as Grand Finalists. Only two others came close, but didn’t get enough votes.

Firstly Invitation by Pascalphilly which divided the voters.

Someone brought up an interesting point about our shirts making you stand out from your enviroment, while the messaging from this logo is more the opposite. Not sure I agree 100% but its an interesting interpretation.

And Against Nudity by Alexander Wende also came close, the “next to being nude” theme feels a little over-used in our industry (Threadless’ “nude no more” being one example), so we decided to pass on this one.

Congratulations to Ikou and MuamerDESIGN. Also to everyone that made this list, a great achievement from the pool of thousands of designs that could have made it from all the weeks!

Thank you for approve specifities of bubble labels approach. starting with generic and construct a system who making the identity is a point of view very difficult to defend, i know it now :)
Certainly i failed to convice there is a very different approach with “Think Spreadshirt Update”, the contest is close :too late, its fair play (and honnest) Think Spreadshirt Update is a great logo!

Spreadshirt: yes I can understand where your concerns are coming from. I think what made you think that is that I placed it on a pattern and then it seems like it is the same as the background and that feels not so positive I admit. It is something different if you see environment around it (like the tree you see through the blanked out shirt) that then is imaginating what you could put on your shirt. Then it works for me. So it just depends on how you use the logo.

    Congrats to MuamerDesign and Ikou!

Worried watching all logos, and attracted my attention one in particular “Icon of a hand,” read the brief, this simple but brilliant logo, shows without doubt the action of “spreadshirt”

@adam : no ambiguity i’m proud of bubble label and happy to make the grand final! :)

    Congrats to muamer & ikou!

Wow, I must truly say that I haven’t search for other companies in this buisiness and that Iam not familier with Threadless;) This “against nudity” was just a fictitious campaign of me to show how u can use the logo for example (also it seems to me to fit the censorbar as a funny title for the logo ;)).

I have to say that anything that ikou showed, was also possible with many other logos of this contest (with an extra speachbubble). I’m still confused with the choices, but I think u have ur causes.(Iam not spreadshirt ;))

But all the way it was a very very cool contest, I’ve learned a lot & had much fun!

But ikou! Don’t get me wrong, it was a lot of fun to watch ur examples! It is just my(one)opinion!

yes but there is no extrabubble in bubble label ;) you can say : its possible to make “hole” with extrahole … In spite of week 5 i defend my point of view in week 6 &7 and you should read my comment : http://olp.spreadshirt.net/wordpress/2007/10/13/the-wildcard-shortlist/
