woohoo, we made it!
Thanks to everyone who’s taken part, we are no longer accepting logos for submission. It’s not over, there are still 50 or 60 designs awaiting approval and some designs you’ve mailed in to be added. We’ll wrap everything up tomorrow morning. We seem to have sort of crashed Wordpress it’s crawling at the moment, I think its not supposed to have so many people submitting at once so approving is just about impossible.

If we haven’t responded to your mail or approved your design by late tomorrow morning send us a mail. Then we can work on the shortlist and see just how many logos came in this week.
The OLP has been really inspirational and great fun to be part of so on behalf of the Spreadshirt team we’d all like to say thanks, we’re really humbled by how many of you have taken part, and how outstanding your ideas have been.

Thanks for the fun competition. I just wanted to say thanks and good luck to everyone because I know how much hard work went into all these designs.

Yeah site was down a lot in the last few hours, at some points we were getting 5 designs a minute, I don’t think wordpress is designed for that level of authors submitting at one time.

i had the same problem that emperorwith my update. It has been fun these two weeks i´ve been involved in this process, working, looking, enjoying. One question, can the finalists improve their logos in this final week with the feedback they can receive from the people? Or ask them for specific things to see the logos applied on them (the same images for all, so we can see them in equal images). Maybe is too much…

worry not guys, I was hoping to have everything approved by now but the server is still crawling and there are 100 or so still waiting. Hopefully i’ll have it sorted by the end of the day, let me go and see what I can find out from IT.

I sent my logo yesterday, but only the preview appeared in the entries-list. I think, I used WordPress not properly. I sent my designs also twice via email to olp@spreadshirt.net. Will it be seen there?

What a good contest, with lots of good works!
yeah I guess we’ll push the shortlist announcement back until tomorrow now, sorry for the delay everyone. Its better that we dont rush it and take our time to review all the entries that came in this week (800 or so), gives you longer to comment them as well and tell us what you think.

thanks adam! i think that spreadshirt staff makes the best choice, with all the entries of the last 2 days, it would be a shame to make a shortlist in a hurry…
now it would be nice that people who submitted takes the time to review other works, even if course, theere are a loooot… but perhaps i’m too idealist :-)
to all graphists here: it was fun and really entertaining to play the game and share with you our visions of spreadshirt logo, community etc…i think that i even learned from all the talents out there in thos eweeks. Cya!
