Will we have a Goran?

Goran Ivanisevic has already proven that wildcards are capable of winning things. Now we need your help in finding the OLPsevic’s (bad i know…) from wk3 & 4! Go forth and comment on the gems that you feel should be in with a chance of making the wildcard shortlist for the grand final.

Thanks for your wk1&2 picks, if you have given us them yet you can add them here (we’ll have another post about them tomorrow).

Don’t know if this follow the brief, but I really like the illustration:

And this one is also very simple but nice and immediate:

that’s sad that a few people here play the game of the wildcards….a little bit of altruism please ;-)

    so here we gooo:

this one from Japasa (again him? lol) is pretty good, with the update i mean, i thought it deserved a better welcome

one of my fav of those 2 weeks is this one, i agree completly with mootsie:

    i just love it ;-)

then, i am not sure that’s it’s possible to indicate our own works…? but i think that reworking it, perhaps that this design can become very interesting, and fun:

eheh, if you think it’s not fair about mine, ok i understand :-)

I would like to also suggest this one:
    http://olp.spreadshirt.net/entries/2007/09/18/my-own-signs/

I do not consider this as complete, would get rid of the heart, do some more variety in the elements. But the icon has a nice light feeling to it, maybe you chose wildcard logos and give the chance to still edit those here and there.

Furthermore I would say that many logos here have colors that do not necessariliy need excactly to be like that. So please, jury, review the wildcards imagined in black and white, color suggestions could easily be made after that and I dont want a good concept to be turned down because of
disliking color (or font, that in some cases may seem to be exchangeable).

    Thanks.
