Just a matter of minutes after we opened the doors, our first entries our in. Lets see if the early bird does catch the worm. At the moment the css is set to resize the images to one consistent size, 220px x120px as specified in the upload area. Please upload your previews in this size. If its really not working we can think about dropping the css rule, but lets see how it goes.
These two from Credonaut. Really nice concepts the first involving a zebra, the second a fig leaf. I hadn’t thought that “your own label” could be interpreted as a barcode, but I suspect we’ll see a few more designs following that theme. What do you think? For me its great to see such high quality entries at the kick-off.

Thanks for the warm welcome!
Yes, it’s true, I had some difficulties in grappling with the upload engine. The zebra in particular is, well, a wee bit smaller than I expected it to be. I personally like the fig leaf better than the zebra, if I may say so …
Yeah I like the figleaf’s one too, makes me think of http://www.figleaves.com/uk/home.asp though :(
But I think they aren’t so big outside of the UK.
I would have submited my first entry already, if the system wouldn’t give me such a hard time… why are all attached images automatically resized instead of only the preview-pic?
…and why is the entry i didn’t really finish and just viewed a preview of already online, although i didn’t submit it?
Are entries put into the moderation queue already if you only use ’save an continue editing’ and preview them?
I also don’t seem to be able to edit or delete it myself.
OK, the resizing issue seems to be fixed now. Thanks a lot!
Yeah the css was re-sizing all images, its fixed now. We’ve added a tickbox for when you’ve definetely finished, tick it and we’ll know that we can approve it.
