At the moment we set up (as everybody could easily see ;)) the technical platform. We decided to have 2 Blogs this time. And we are really happy that Wordpress made a huge leap forward, so the long weekend holiday for Super Greg (our coder) could be approved - maybe he plans a picknick in the green, a little wave ride in the Baltic Sea. Errrm, whatever .. back to business: All the submissions will be shown in a special “entry blog”, this one will remain the main blog.
We will highlight some entries in this blog, maybe do a little 1on1 between drafts that we like to get your opinion on, but the main commenting and discussion of the submissions will be on the entries blog.
Timing and progress
As for the timing I hope we can deliver the full briefing and reveal all the details on coming monday. But before we can maybe have a little background on how the competition will be held: our idea was to have weekly picks this time (plus some wildcards at the end in case we had a very strong participation in one or more weeks). We also have asked some experts from the design, the industry and the community scene to support us and be the jury.
Btw. the decision to involve a jury also was an outcome and a feedback often requested in the first OLP.
And, before I forget: when I say “experts”, I mean “experts” who also work together with us and participate actively.
There is only one thing regarding SuperGreg. I am not driving to the Baltic Sea. I am a mountain freak and will drive to Chamonix in France to try to get to Mont Blanc :) A small difference, but always ;)
