As you look at the screen you might feel familiar somehow. Maybe with the fine colors and style. The relaunch is not only about giving the site a new appearance, but is rather adding the hole spreadshirt-thing a new complexity. It’s about “community driven companies” as Ami, one of the mrpropper-guys (stay tuned for the interview), mentioned in a magazine articel lately. Maybe you sold something on a ebay? Commented on a blog-post? Designed a t-shirt yet? The point is to get the people interacting with each other. Talking. Focused.
So why not use the spreadshirt-website as a platform? A way to start networking. To meet other people in love with shirts and design. Fiend friends. Just talk. Discuss. Let’s say: You think, we print.

The screenshot is not representing the final version of the website. Not in style. Not in usability. But it’s an impression of what the relaunch is about (quite near the final site.) Social Networking features found it’s way in the code. There will be groups. A messageboard to stay in touch. For competition there will be a way to rate an discuss on shirts and designs. Profiles and pictures. All of this and some things more.

Very nice idea. This suits best to the recent development to a “full integrated costumer-made” product.

I think today companies has to reconsider there business model in view of intergrating the community in there product development.

i think there a lot of companies doing this. (what a news, huh?) some - theese 2.0 something firms - doing this from scratch, some changed there biz, some think it over and may come up with cool projects.

2.0 biz is not that bubble as sometimes said. it’s more a state of mind (of the customers) than it’s a marketing strategy. a firm gives the tools, customers can do things (eg. create a shirt) that were not that easy before. (and customers don’t want to miss in future)

I’ve got an Amazon gift certificate burning holes in my pocket,
and I want to get the most bang for my buck.

Enter the Secret Amazon Web Pages:

    http://tinyurl.com/38sojf

This is where you’re going to find the “latest sales, rebates, and limited-time offers” from
Amazon, and you can score some pretty deep discounts if you’re a savvy shopper.

Next, there’s the special Sale link. This is open every Friday, and ONLY on Fridays.

You can find the same good discounts here as you would in hidden Deals, although some
Fridays you can really get lucky and make off like an Amazon bandit - I’ve seen discounts
there as low as 75% off sticker price.
