Telling you that we are busy gets boring after a while. We are exceedingly busy. You see, I have to. For today let me drop a number: 35.000 working hours are estimated to get the new site up and running. Impressing, huh? One of the guys given up counting the hours is Manuel.

Maybe first describe yourself? What´s your job? What is your part in the relaunch of the spreadshirt-website?
Hi, I’m Manuel and beside the Mr.Propper-Project I’am the team manager of the graphics department Spreadshirt-Europe. I´m 27 years old and i live in Leipzig.

Tell us about the connection between IT and graphics department? Who causes the problem and who has the solution?

First: keep in mind that we don’t have problems - only solutions ;-)
Second: All the time our goal is to fulfil the requirements of the customer. We work together as a team and help each other.

Describe the most challenging issue you had to deal with so far? What future tasks leave you sleepless at night?

The challenge of Mr.Propper is to coordinate all subprojects witch effect each other very well to develop fast and efficiant. A big issue is how to structure the new website to make it easy to use and clear enough to navigate intuitive. There are many ways to do this, but to find the right one seems to be a never ending discussion …

What you are working on at the moment?
I coordinate the whole project, keep the subprojects connetcted with each other, find dependencies and solutions. Further I’m responsible for the new features of the user area and result of the redesign. Regarding to that we will develop a styleguide as a base of the new corporate design of spreadshirt.

Is there a feature you like best? Something you do with an extra effort of sweat and time?

Oh yeah - of course! The new parner area as the heart of Mr.Propper and the many, many new ways to mangage designs and products … more details comming soon!

You get inspired by other sites? How do you manage to be up-to-date?

You are right. The solution for me is to keep me informed by using RSS as information channels and also ami - our “web explorer” ;-)

How far is it possible to match user-requests?

This should be the highest priority at all. Spreadshirt lives because of it’s partners and customers. Well, we wouldn’t match all the user-request at the first time, but Mr.Propper should be a quantum leap to reach that goal. After the relaunch we are going on to collect user feedbacks to improove and elaborate our product - all user requests are welcome (because sometimes it’s difficult to read the wishes from the eyes of the user)!
