Well, time for the next big winning announcement! Here come the champions for the next categories: Find the entries here! Or read on for the complete part.

The Winner of the Participation Award is …. missionX!
Okay, missionX rocked the OLP — not only with the amount of entries, but also with the quality of his submissions, the input and the inspiration he gave us and you. Congratulations! A brandnew Wacom Intuos3 and 100 Euros for you to rock on!

also nominated and very close behind:
2nd Place: bkohl
3rd Place: gadenico
4th Place: alectronix
5th Place: stefkink65

Ladies and gentlemen, the “Off the record Award” goes to … clanmacmoore!
A rather early posting, but we all were surprised and excited about the mysterious combination of TOAST and TEE. But hey, why not, both surely spreads like butter! And here is the price for your contribution: A very heavy certificate (worth somewhat 50 Euros)!

Here are the other results in this category:
2nd Place: alexander with “D.I.Y.”
3rd Place: bytepark with “Spread your Shirt”
4th Place: linale with “ead this!”
5th Place: cargo with “Show+Tell”

Let’s head over to the “next time read the briefing” award (ntrb), which goes to … Bob Durk!
Okay, there certainly have been a bunch of very skilled designers in the OLP. And then there were the drafts that represented great ideas, sometimes funny stuff we can’t use as a logo - but kept us smiling. Bob showed us that we shouldn’t be too serious with what we are here for. Thanks a lot for your dedication and for the nice dialog we had in the last couple of months. Your price also will be a very heavy certificate (worth somewhat 50 Euros)!

To make this short here are two other results:
2nd Place: once again: bob durk!
3rd Place: the cintiq logo

Finally, and last but not least, the special award for great concepts: the “Details award”. It goes to … Andrea!
A filigrane creation and a really nice handwriting of the Spreadshirt Logo and a “S-Angel”. Andrea, this is your prize: A brandnew Wacom Intuos3 and 100 Euros have been reserved for further heavenly drawings!

This one was really pretty close, a real neck by neck race between andrea, getimo and paal. Here is the complete ranking:
2nd Place: getimo with “simple, memorable …”
3rd Place: paal with “from the head to the Shirt”
4th Place: pixelroom with his non-titled “SP” logo
5th Place: lak with “krickelei2.0″

All of the nominees are awarded with a free Spreadshirt Premium Shop! Congratulations and a big hug for the nominees and especially to the winners: Find your entries here!

So much for now. This was the second part — stay tuned for the big issue on thursday: the new Spreadlogo!
And don’t forget to give us your logo on a T-design!

Thank you again, this was a lot of fun.
(I’ll have to study up on what does and what does not make a good logo… hahahahaha)

uh, lovely… seems i’ve taken the 6th place in the detail-award…
i’m ab it surprised paal, or at least getimo (just because of the great attention it had) didn’t take that one home, but a rather, erm, not so good/boring one - just my opinion.

well then, congrats to the winners, especially bob, you earned it ;)

  12. 12 by Evil Plonker | Mar 15th, 2006 at 1:24 pm

if attention would count that much the guy with the two hangers should have won but his draft wasnt even nominated and you dont how many people voted for a specific draft over and over again. some questions will stay unanswered till the end but thats how its been going.

  16. 16 by kneedropper | Mar 15th, 2006 at 5:34 pm

I uploaded my graphics yesterday, but they still haven’t been accepted, so I can’t put them anywhere! So it’s in your hands, Ami =). Not saying that you wan’t my "second power" on your Tee, but others may have the same problem…

  17. 17 by Paal | Mar 15th, 2006 at 5:54 pm

wow, thanks ami, this is really nice!
i will upload the design as soon as posibble, but i need to organize a bit before that: i’m away from home now for 3 month, and everything is on my home computer :( but i will manage it somehow.
and it makes me happy you like the design, vielen dank!
    cheers,
    p
