Our present claim is “You think it. We print it!” and we heard a lot about that one. To make it short: we´re not only planning a new design, but also thinking about a catchy claim all the time. So if you have a cool idea for a slogan or want to discuss about our claim, just go ahead and post it here. If we get cool ideas, maybe we make a little poll and the winner gets something special, also.

    “spread your mind”
    …but 2 times spread isn’t that good

    or how about
    “mind your own business”
    …just kidding

    “where your creativity becomes reality”

“create it - sell it - wear it”

or to shorten: create, sell, wear. too bad, cafepress is using something similar already .. (shop sell create whats on your mind) :/

thanks to rzshop for the inspiration.

i consider “textile on main street” a very funny claim… it’s of no use in the asian market and with a young audience (who doesn’t care about the stones) though, so let’s just forget it.

    - wear your creativity

    - touch your mind

    - operation print sensation
    (or shirt sensation)

    - what do you want to wear today?
    (Bill Gates-memory-claim)

    - insert claim here
    (that fits spreadshirt 100% ;) )

Even if I think a new logo is a good idea, I don’t think Spreadshirt needs a new slogan. “You think it, we print it” is already a catchy classic.

    what about:

Better slogans comes with only 3 OR 5 words.
    The best Slogans interprete AIDA…
    ;)
    no, wake them up…
    You know…?
    aTTENTION
    iNTEREST

    spread shirt plays with words…
remember the logo which shows a knife spread butter on the shirt… nice idea

    but e.g. spreadshirt comes with a smiley…
    and the slogan is:
    spread your smile
is it in german a “aufgetragenes Lächeln” or is it “verbreite dein lächeln”

In my submissions I have already changed the claim to “think it, print it!” Which is a more direct, boiled down version of the current claim.
But, if you want to change it, then the only one I think could possibly be better is:

    Share it, wear it!

It is short and catchy, (which all claims should be), rhymes; and the “share” part acts with the “spread” of Spreadshirts name to conjure a very positive feeling, (like the feelings associated with the growing open source movement etc).
The other possible advantage is that it has a flat bottom (i.e. does not extended below the line in the way the character “p” does in the word “print”). This has possible layout advantages, which along with the strengths of the claim itself, is why I think it could be used instead of my current suggestion “Think it. Print it!”

    Cheers.

  33. 33 by spreadstyle | Feb 9th, 2006 at 11:38 am

    your mind …

    your style …

    style yourself …

    shirt yourself …

wear it , bear it …

    you + us = your style …

spreadshirt - frees your style …

puting in the word “design” instead of “style” you get some more claims.

  34. 34 by ortablaze | Feb 9th, 2006 at 11:45 am

You design it, we’ll print it.

You design it, we’ll print and ship it.

you design it and we’ll do the rest.

    Not your typical print shop.

    We do more than print.

    printing and shipping for you.

we’ll print and ship, you just design it.

    our shop is your shop.

design, print, ship, and that’s it.

    we print and ship.

    we’ll print and ship it.

i read that ami likes “sell your soul”. but what about “soul your sell”? strange, huh? “soul” is in this claim a neologism which means “inspire”.

    “inspire your style”

    “spreadshirt - inspires your style”

    “style together”

    “you for the masses”

    “we love your style”

“on community under shirt” (guess where I took this idea …)

    “we do your style”

… brainstorming will go on …

  39. 39 by spreadstyle | Feb 13th, 2006 at 10:08 pm

whups, in the third from the bottom it should be “one community under shirt”, sorry.

  40. 40 by Steve | Feb 13th, 2006 at 10:14 pm

Well, I had the idea in a further creation of my logo (the swan project), but I write it in this thread, too.

My idea for a slogan is:
    “spreadshirt - fashion for individuals”

cause I think there exists no better thing than individuality or a company that isn’t only like the others - perhaps a company that could make everything possible?!

    kind regards,
    your steve

  41. 41 by Steve | Feb 13th, 2006 at 10:17 pm

    also possible:

    “spreadshirt - print your image”

    …it has two meanings ….
on the one hand you can print an image you’ve made,
one the other hand you can print or create your fashion, that will give you your own image”

  42. 42 by Steve | Feb 13th, 2006 at 10:26 pm

    or:

“wear your ideas” / “show your ideas”
    “your idea on a shirt”
    “cause everything is possible”
    “let’s make fashion”
    “more than fashion”

or …when you log in …
    “what would you like today?!”

    or:

    satisfaction + fashion = SATISFASHION

  43. 43 by Steve | Feb 13th, 2006 at 10:31 pm

it also sounds like “set his fashion” - make fashion for your consumers

    well, “spreadshirt - the satisfactory”

  44. 44 by Steve | Feb 13th, 2006 at 10:41 pm

…hmm, sorry for my make-so-much-entries-brainstorming, but I have another slogan, too:

“spreadshirt - your idea gets an id”
you also can write ..our id
    or
“spreadshirt - we give your idea an id”

Id has the sense of identity …that means, that you have an idea and spreadshirt will print it …and -because the products are great- your shirt will get a idenity ….something like “boah, I wanna have such a shirt, too” said from people that saw you while working on the street.
id also could have the sense of shop-id and so on …
in fact it has a touch of a unique thing - individuality

  45. 45 by eM | Feb 13th, 2006 at 11:18 pm

I really don’t think you guys need to change your Tagline it communicates exactly what you do and what we can do with you!

With that said here’s my 2 bobs worth:

    “Your ideas brought to life”

    “Follow your dreams”

    “Making your dreams a reality”

  46. 46 by Steve | Feb 13th, 2006 at 11:23 pm

    well, sounds good …
    or something like:

    “realize your dreams”

but, don’t know if it isn’t a little bit too funky

    ….

    wohoooo, now I have a flash ….

    what’s about
“spreadshirt - we’ll realize for your eyes”

    :) :) :)

  47. 47 by eM | Feb 13th, 2006 at 11:29 pm

Now who’s gettin all funky on our ass! I can hear the music!!:) Keep em coming Steve!

  48. 48 by Steve | Feb 13th, 2006 at 11:43 pm

*hehe …music is a good idea …. yesterday I finished the producing of one of my trance songs :)
but I only need a female singer for my other tracks, too … such vocal recordings are a little bit too expensive for me :(
… so I have to have good ideas to win a little bit money for it *lol*

    stay tuned ;)

-if you can read this claim you need no google-

    I have one more idea:

How about an claim, featuring a Google-like counter of potential clients (i.e. population of the Earth - I mean there is hardly anyone, who has never owned a shirt).

    This would look like -

    6,432,772,413 potential customers (and counting)

The counter should be counting of course :)

actually i agree with some others here, that your old claim is already very catchy, you should stay with it, but thats also very depending on the logo you will choose at the end.
