hmm, well, let’s talk about fonts …
I think a clear, simple font is as more timeless as a crazy swung one.
what do the others say?
which style do you prefer for a logo?!
pixeled, dotted, swung with waves?!
well, i do prefer a rather “timeless” font, a word logo that we can use in every country — do not forget: since december we also offer sprdshrt on the asian market as well ..!
and: of course i read your comments. i hope we will have some other opinions here .. so i will try to push some of the spreadsters to join the party here :)

hmm, ami …is there a way to edit our own logo entries or do we have to upload/write new entries if made some changes - for example animated gif or a little icon or so?! …I guess it could look “idea-less” if I have 2 or 3 entries with same logo but few changes (that came in my mind a little bit later)
I think this discussion board entry isn’t the right place to speak about fonts - an own category for discussions about fonts will comming soon!
But i want to annotate, that the question of font is also a question of the possibility to reproduce them. The font should be able to plott simply - even in small sizes - to put them on shirts.
hmm, yes, that’s the reason for producing simple “logos” and fonts that you also can see in companys like nike, ARD, ZDF, Puma and so on.
It seems to me that a lot of people expect a star-wars-effect-like 3D logo with glas or diamonds and so on *lol … ….but wouldn’t be the sense of a real corporate identity …..also it couldn’t be printed in plott then
my general question is how much colors are optimal for the logo/ the concept ?!

every logo have to work as one-color-logo. The color is the second question. So it make sens to design a new logo with one color in the first step.

well, there are good entries, but I think it’s dangerous to have a logo like “SS” or such a style.
would be an international catastrophe….
I prefer only one S or one S with a single line or shadow, but not 2 S in the same size …. otherwise it would have a negative touch
different thing about “collaboration”:
some of the entries are rather poor. would be nice if everybody takes some time to comment on poor designs as well.
keep in mind that some of the people here are beginners, also, we do not know the age of each contributor.
would be nice to get only excellent entries, but collaboration is also about learning, and I would be very happy to see when some folks take something away from here even if it should not be the prize money.
so, specific comments about weaknesses of concepts are helpfull!
yes, please comment when you rank drafts. its useless to get 1.8 stars and nobody knows why. it would help a lot.
