spreadshirt logo by sCpquite simple with clear structure, that is my style.

Concept:
First, a smooth and simple symbol should make the direct connection between Spreadshirt and theme: shirts/textiles. I’ve set apart the two syllables. On the one side: the two S forms are a shortcut for spreadshirt, but in the same breath symbolize the connection to textiles that will also be understood in an advertising context. These will be underlined through the angle of the symbol and the compact alignment.

As a second major part: the spreadshirt brand will be represented in lower case right of the optical middle. And the break between the syllables will be shown and clearer. In my opinion, this break is necessary since spreadshirt no longer is limited to shirts, but has a broader offer of other textiles. But without losing contact to the roots, there is still a direct connection in the symbol whereby shirts represent weaving, shown by the interwoven aspect of the S.

The combination of symbol and text gives the logo a very flexible application. A variety of color variations and sizes show the application possibilities, and is attached.

Text:
I selected Helvetica as the font, since it is very flexibly usable in different text forms. And is one of the most timeless fonts. Using the font forms “black”, as a striking font that quickly and easily represents your concept on products and for people. Therefore a thick font is a perfect choice.

Colors:
For the first color selection, I chose Pantone Solid Coated 2718 and black and tone-value of 25% black for the black/white version. The strong Pantone blue symbolizes the technical know-how that stands behind the spreadshirt brand. But also shows flexibility and sensibility. It is not an extremely strong blue, but also not too soft. And that underscores my statement.

Logo family:
In addition, I’ve done a small overview of possible applications to the logo family, that would have to be changed with the new logo. I can say quickly: the spreadshirt motivator/stylesheet is a pleasant yellow/orange and symbolizes the positive motivation, like the sun. The spreadshirt designer is actually subjective, and therefore green seems appropriate: as it represents feelings and intuition. For spreadshirt sports, fast and powerful, I selected a strong red.

Now, since this has gone on so long already, I’ll stop my little novel :). If you have any question, I’ll be happy to answer them!

I like this idea - one of the few submissions without a t-shirt!
The double “s” is easy to use in all usecases as lable, its realy simple and also significant.

But it is a pity that the double “s” looks a little bit like the greek “PHI” - is there any association?
