Whats your real name and where are you from?
Nicolas Bulard. I’m from Angers, France
Whats your dayjob?
I’m the slave of my computer and incidentally a freelance graphic designer.
How did you get into Graphic Design?
I love to draw and my passion is to read and make comics. But as I’m a very slow person and also a very perfectionist one, I said to myself that it would be better to just draw some logos rather than entire pages of huge citys with endless details !
Where can we see more of your work?
In France, we said “shoemakers don’t wear good shoes”… I’ve designed many websites but I still haven’t had time to make my own !
If you want to see few funny things you can go to my Lafraise page http://www.lafraise.com/contest.php?op=lafraise_profileā©=fr&user_id=956935
And for other information you can easily contact me
Who’s your hero?
Suzanna Licko. A great typo maker with a fu***** talent !
Hiro Nakamura
But my real hero is my cat !
The most important aspect of design is…………?
For me, the most important thing is to take pleasure in what I do. Without pleasure, good design doesn’t exist.
If you were king of the world for one day you would…………..?
I would make my girlfriend a queen… (editor: collective aahh everyone!)
Whats your favourite OLP entry (excluding your own)?
Japasa’s “Spreadshirt TM” is one of my favorite : simple, dynamic and so elegant ! In one word : brilliant !

bonne chance pour la finale
yes, hiro nakamura .. I understand and am with you .. hehe
and btw. the phrase “shoemakers have the worst shoes” seems to be at least european wide known, we have it in germany as well.
Funny… in the US, it is “the shoemaker’s children have no shoes”.
Loved your la Fraise Halo entries.
Good luck in the finals!
