I tried to create a logo with another than the typical “shirt” approach, something more abstract. When I played around with ideas, images, I came to think about the word “spread” and alternate meanings.
Like, well, spread as in “something you put on your bread”.
So I designed this stylized piece of bread with some spread on it. Everyone’s free to put on the bread what one likes best.

Was strolling around pretending to be creative, juggling the words and this idea came about.
Cracker, a spread shirt - slammed onto a shirt tab, with the additional hanger piece presenting the company slogan.
Enjoy and try to be gentle. ^^
Strange somehow, but with a distinctive design. Versatile and with clear reference to Spreadshirt’s mission statement: creative, personal, individual and unique.
In my second entry I extendet the Tetrisidea of the first concept. With the first concept as a basic, I have genereted this logo. With the piled stones which symbolize a T-shirt can be coloured arbitrarily. They emphasize once again the “do it yourself” concept of Spreadshirt. The Logo with the V-neck and the arrow below can look like a screw, a nail, a pencil or a T-shirt. In my opinion these symbols transport the message “your own label” very well.This is the moment were you can go crazy, you can use the logo in a flexible and creative way (scroll down for some thoughts from me). The pencil (=the logo) is ablo to draw any motive in dashed lines, this design element can represent any message for promotion/advertising for web & print. Also you can easily cut or stamp the logo, since it is held simple.I’ve tryed to create a typography which is semantic to the words “spread shirt” to support the logo, my goal was to to achieve a good typographic brand recognition also without the logo. I mean the concept of do it yourself. The words Spread and shirt are separated with an abstractive tee-shirt to show people can do it with ease (facilitité) - The leitmotiv is Create your own label

Notice the “S” of the pen simplicity Spreadshirt ! …
This design shows a t-shirt that is shaped to resemble an artist’s palette signifying the SpreadShirt idea that you are your own artist and designer. The colors can represent the colors in the palette or the graphic printed on the shirt.
Shirt and tag combines to form a person leaping across the title. The idea fits into the concept of SpreadShirt as easy to use, fast, and stylish.

This logo focuses on the creative aspect of Spreadshirt. People can come up with great ideas of apparel design and actually see them come to life. This is the first draft. It can of course be refined.
