This logo can be interpreted in different ways.
It shows:
- a t-shirt
- a tag with a thread
- or a mouse with its string.
Therefore you can understand what Spreadshirt is about: a website
where you can make a shirt on your own (the mouse is the tool
everyone uses individually) and simply; in other words, “use a mouse
and you get a shirt”, in other words. And the label idea is also
showed through the thread-and-tag interpretation.

Now it’s time to play !
This is the new version of “Play with form”, so I hope you are in a playfull mood !
Adding color to your life can be the mote to spread shirt logo, color are the most emotive communication, but at same time syntactic and common sense in language and human communication
By making a logo with a variety of colors you can pass the message of the variety of possibilities that spread shirt gives, making the like a chameleon adaptation to the environment, changing and shape by adapting to the client and to the product.
This logo can be spread around in the multiple publicity merchandising. The color was the motive and the modular conception brings freshness and sparks into a very grey modern city.
Spread colour to your life, make your own label, make your own color, make your own shirt, spread shirt!

The symbol itself represents the shop-owner & his customer (or
spreadshirt & the customer). The outcome of this is an “S” for -s-pread-
s-hirt. Also it stands for your own way u can put together your own
clothes, put many items together to your shirt (the “S”)!
I think it is memorable & flexible/easy to use.
The font is modified to fit the symbol, it emphase the put together or
your own way to represent your label/shop!

My intention was to create a spreadShirt logo without using the regular typefaces making it unique. So it looks more street and urban for the people and not that straight business lookalike.
I created two types of this logo. See them in use below.

Very long ago I ironed a LA Lakers logo on my t-shirt. It was so cool, it was simple and it looked great…
This logo conveys the image that Spreadshirt is so easy to use that you just have think of an idea and by going on the website, it will be quickly materialized into a shirt. This also shows how individual the shirts are because it’s all about YOUR idea.
It can also be used for banners for promotionnal events like Halloween or Christmas where the empty bubble can be filled by several images that remind us of these periods and can give us ideas too.
Here are some further variations of the labelrange-logo. The claim is now a little bit bigger. Click to see more of them!
The Concept for this logo strengthens the tag-line of “your own label” which uses the identity of your palm, which is unique to everyone, and has a t-shirt outline on the palm signifying the shirt as a part of your identity. The orange is a bold colour, easily recognised and works on most mediums.
Certainly my last one but we never know
Please go inside to see more about this one, the preview is one thing (just a teaser), the whole concept is another
I pushed further my concept of label man, tab (of thumb index). It’s about the power of creativity, and customization, just create your own label, the one that fits you, spreadshirt is there to help you and give you the tools, just choose
You can also make the link between the head and the “O” of “own”
And finally, the “S” is hidden everywhere on the logo eheheh ^^
Sorry folks, a second try, because something goes wrong before:
The logo stands for the endless possibilities to create and spread your own label in the www using spreadshirt.net
The main goal of this logo is to answer to diversity in global society and the diversyty od society (people) it represented by the diferent caracters on the logo, the global factor is represented has a numeric value , four caracters, each one ” represents” - the air, the water, the fire and earth .
So, this logo started off with me playing with the word OWN.
The symbols are like the washing instruction symbols on clothing labels. They also spell the word OWN and can be used as tags/labels (as you can see on the following page of examples).
I will add some more examples and color variations in a following post but wanted to get this submitted first.

Description
The logo shows a t-shirt or longsleeve in a strong simplification style with sleeves like wings. The understatement is easiness and it looks in this graphic style like reproductions. The color separation means the different and individual faces of every “own label”. The border between the colors, describes the form of a “S” like Spread Shirt. It’s an important element in that logo, because anybody can create his own label quick and easy and SpreadShirt makes it possible.
I wish I came up with this logo earlier, ’cause I could have worked more on this. I like it because it suggests what Spreadshirt does, and I think that its unusual shape also is a vector for individualisation. Also, the execution is so simple yet effective, and I believe it has a lot of potential: it can become a bubble, it can be used as a pattern (so it could morph into almost anything), you can put icons on it and give it different meanings, etc. Had I come up with this earlier, I could have explored its potential deeper. Well, nevermind. Good luck to everybody in the contest and a big thank you to the Spreadshirt team, because these weeks have been a lot of fun and about learning stuff I didn’t know. Thanks! … On your own label !
The logo shows your own style, your individuality(cravat).
It shows two parts, the top with the spreadshirt which you can choose
and the bottom with your own design! And if you got it, you press it on your own label !
It is simple and multifaced! I hope you like it

Label shirt is a reverse label where there is a logo.
Simply idea. that start to a consideration: the label indicate the makers, the makers is spreadshirt, i understand that spreadshirt is a personal makers of shirt label.

The idea behind this logo is: Initially there’s nothing (null) then comes a square, the square turns into a cube, a house (Spreadshirt). Then communication occurs (orders) wich generates outward communication (deliveries, the idea is displayed in graphics below). Finally it’s styled in 3D with the primary colors of the subtractic color model to show that this is all about printing. The symbol is constructed by the Law of Numbers and it is possible to repeat forever in all directions (see below). This eternity-pattern is the substrate behind the logo.

The Molecular Goodness direction is a visually exciting identity which is derived from Spreadshirt’s core brand attributes: quality, ease of use and individuality. Out intent was to instill Spreadshirt’s brand proposition - Your own label - into an identity system that was unique and would work impeccably in different mediums.
aaaarrrrrgh Thing :)))

As v2 of this went to the wildcard shortlist I decided to improve it a bit…hope you like it! Additional description and images

Better late than never…impressed with a lot of the entries here.
We choose the designs on the shirts we wear because they say something about us…an extension of who we are, how we feel, or at least how we want to be portrayed. Our clothing tell others that we are “happy”, or “angst”, a “sports afficionado”, a “biker”, “dangerous”, “cynical”, etc. As such, I used quotes in my logo that encompass the shirt label bubble to bring forward this idea of visual self-quotation. But they are not just quotes, but are part of the shirt label itself, becoming it’s sleeves. The label itself is empty, inviting the viewer to fill in the blank with his or her own identity. The letter “e”, which is a common symbol for online marketing, has been upturned, as if it’s speaking the bubble label itself. This references at the online presence of SpreadShirt. I also decided to place the tagline below the word “spread” instead of “shirt” to emphasis the notion of wanting to “spread your own label”.
