What do you do when you want to customize your things and make it your own? The first thing of course is you tear out the original label/sticker/tag. This idea is presented in this very modern, fun and identifiable logo. The bold typeface makes it ideal for both print and web. The versatile form, also makes it adaptable to both image and textual elements.

Something fun and out of the box. Additional description and images
A simple “Tee” logo based on modern and minimalist design. The icon has a great visual impact with the red dot, that’ll stop people on their tracks because Spreadshirt is the one-stop shop for all customized apparel and more. The “t” shape + dot of the icon makes it simple enough to be part of everyday visual imagery and beautiful enough to be appreciated as an abstract symbol. The dot also signifies the nature of the company as a web based/.com platform. It’s simplicity makes it a great jumping board for marketing creativity and versatility with many applications such as those illustrated below. Because the mark of a great logo is not to depict the realization of a concept but it’s possibilities. Additional description and images
An modified stacked version of my previous post + more icons. Additional description and images
A hand drawn type gives the logo a playful personality that is in keeping with the company’s business aim of personalized apparel. It is also less intimidating and more inviting for the non-designer/consumer to relate with such a logo. Because after all… what’s more fun than designing your own clothes? I’ve also created some fun icons related to clothing that could be placed with the logo or used as stand alone icons or buttons for the site. They could also be interchangeable.

Stencil inspired logo with shirt and tag integrated into a modified sans serif typeface for a modern and stylish look. Bold and versatile, it can be configured to different shapes and colors.

Pretty straightforward design with emphasis on the tag line. The handwritten type signifies the customer’s personalization of his own product through SpreadShirt.
Shirt and tag combines to form a person leaping across the title. The idea fits into the concept of SpreadShirt as easy to use, fast, and stylish.
Hope you like it. Additional description and images
(Update: I tweaked the colors to really commit to the idea of the label and tag forming an orange and leaf.)
I gave it a second try. Taking elements from my first attempt and revamping the concept, I came up with this new logo.
…I gave it a second try. Taking elements from my first attempt and revamping the concept, I came up with this new logo.
The main idea behind this logo is that the hanging tag forms an ‘S’ which is next to the plain white shirt signifying the company name “Spread Shirt”. Both the tag and the white shirt are blank which is a reminder of the customer’s role in customizing their own shirt and label.
The shape of the white shirt came from taking nuances from both of the fonts used in the logo. (i.e. The curves of the main title combined with the bold “o” of the tagline)
Also, the tag and shirt combo forms an orange and leaf signifying freshness, youth, and creativity that is vital to the company’s image. Additional description and images
This logo seems pretty descriptive of what the company does. The shape encapsulating the company name stands for a package. What comes out of the package is a shirt with your customized label. I wanted to use a font that is not sans serif, since every logo in the short lists seems to have using sans serif. Also, the curves and angles of the type offsets the geometry of the overall logo.
Here are some variations: Additional description and images
