Here’s a different one with a bit more impact. It’s immediately obvious on one level, but has little details which (I think) ask for further examination.

The little shirt decals can be treated like emoticons: each can be different depending on the application of the logo, for example a little paintbrush on a shirt with a graffiti design, that sort of thing. The ones I’ve used represent the different things a designer brings to his/her T-Shirt design. Alternatives are below.

Another logo from me I’m afraid. Instead of going down the ‘luggage tag’ route this is more of a peelable label/post-it note affair, hence the doubling up of the icon. I like the typeface here, please let me know what you think.

*Updated 5pm 04/09* - New variants as promised.

After the first tagshirt didn’t make it to the shortlist (boo!) but only just missed out (yay!), I’ve given it a re-think to make it much neater and crisper. Colour alternatives below.

Hello again, Here’s a second proposal essentially a variation of my first submission but a little more abstract using the double ‘S’ instead of a T-Shirt, and a more graphic interpretation of a label on string. Comments welcome.

Cheers! Dazzler (PS: Marmalade=orange spread. Geddit? Sorry.)

Spreadshirt tagshirt
Hello all. The motif in this logo is designed as such for four reasons:

1. It looks like a little man wearing a T-Shirt.
2. The negative space apes the ‘Design your own T-Shirt’ section of the spreadshirt site.
3. It also looks like a little tag with the hole at the top right for the string to pass through.
4. Turn it 45degrees and it looks like an ‘i’ emphasizing the personalisation.

Main more variations in the full entry:
