okay, by making your point twice, you have totally convinced me ;)
I hope the killer collars will refrain from attacking when presented with the necker cube argument. maybe it keeps them busy with philosophical self-inspection for a while, so you can slam the washing machine door shut, and tuble-dry them to death. :D

Eheh, I'm sorry you are missing the point! :)
If you see the collar you see no smile, so: no teeth. If you see the smile you don't see the collar.
the switch is between a collar and a smile.
If you say (and that what you're saying) that the switch is between cute collars and crazy killers, it means that you mix collars with smiles, just switching between a nice vision of this mix and a nasty one. But remind that the concept of such a mix contradicts the Necker cube assumption that you cannot see the two things together at the same time!

aaaah the necker cube ... you know how to convince a true nerd :D
so the killer collars are more like werewolves?
cute collars during the day, crazy killers at night? ;)
well, horror comes in sweet disguise ...
but this Dr.Jeckyll / Mr. Hide collar or "neckar collar" if you prefer - is a pretty nice concept.
I think you should elaborate it further... just think about the success of the Gremlins in the 1980s. they were so cuddly, but once they got in touch with water they became these terrible monsters... if this is the case for the killer collar you'd better add a PG-warning to the washing label :D

Wow shirtnird, now this is bad publicity masked as a quite good comment! :)
Eheh, anyway, I don't really think those teeth look menacing and, most of all, if you are seeing the smile you are not seeing the collar and viceversa..they share the same symbol but you don't see them both in the same time: something like the Necker cube, you know it? You can see it pointing up or down but not in the same time. So this is a collar when it is not a smile and a smile when it is not a collar, therefore no need to worry for teethed collars ;)

Mootsie ... I love it when your imagination is running wild!
I wish all contributions were that crazy :)
and guess, which is my favourite smile ...

anyway I'm afraid I will be heaving weird nightmares of the collar dentata !
you may have heard about the vagina dentata myth passed on amongst american indians - but that's just pussytalk compared to the modern myth of the killer collar!
collars with teeth ... I mean, they look - oh so cute, but if you don't pay attention, they will gnaw your head off in no time!

I like your idea a lot, but if this is selected as spreadshirt's official logo, the killer collars will probably take over the world! so eat your shirts, before they eat you :D

I love this neck, for me, more expressive and fun than Pop your collar. But I'm not in the panel ;-)
Good luck for the shortlist !
