    This one is so g♥♥d!
Easy to retain and described very well the fact of personalizing its T-shirt.

    I love the button!!
it says “♥” to me, without those overused buttocks that have made the heart-shape so vulgar and cheesy. that’s the heart of our time!
it’s like saying “econy” rather than ‘economy’ or “spirt” rather than ’spread shirt’.
simpled to the max ! and very kawai and pleasing to the eye :D

good logo, although i don’t like the button

Nice shape and very simple icon. Maybe the button effect is not necessary… Good work !

What does the ”????” means and why to see your winglike works? I’ve already seen your work and you have some talents that’s for sure… but really not much of an new, fresh ideas… But considering other works… You are the genius. : (
There is deffinately something wrong with this competition…

Ahahahaa.. “…my comment is waiting for moderation” maybe censorship?

  11. 11 by ami | Oct 17th, 2007 at 1:42 pm

no (need for) censorship - only spamprotection because you inserted more than one link …

    Good.
    .
Thank you for the explanation Ami.

    thanks for your comments.
yaseerra/ pmd: i think the button shape keep´s the logo quit and make it a memorable sign, which could fit in every size. furthermore it´s a bit similar to some kind of candy. for these reasons i choose that form. on the other hand i made one wing-logo without any shape around. did you already notice that? it was also part of the seventh week.

    p.s.: i don´t know if i understand you well.
there are a few good logoworks on this competition. and if i remember your contribution, it´s the one with the finger print and the “s”. maybe it´s too much for sizing it down and i´m not sure if i understood it´s sense. therefore i wrote the “???”. it shouldn´t sound arrogant. that was not my intention.
and no, i´m not a genius … almost, but not just yet.

Hm, I dont know, somehow this looks like a health care or a charity company…

  15. 15 by Formikula | Oct 17th, 2007 at 5:11 pm

… or like an airline. but i think it don´t disturbs necessarily.

  16. 16 by P.S. | Oct 17th, 2007 at 5:21 pm

You don’t have to remember. I’ve left you two links so you can see and say if you had something to say or ask.
And with putting ”????” you doesn’t sound arrogan but that is interesting idea as well… Anyway.. you sound exactly like yours but even more from all other finalist’s works appearance,
not so clear, not so representative, not much creative and deffinately not so original.
    In one word…..
    Nothing special.

Forgive me for this possible bad ”publicity” on your page… It’s possible that others deserve it much more than you… But you have inspired me at this moment.
Yet, I don’t want to debate. It’s redundant and obviously sensless.

And of course you aren’t genious… Geniouses are getting born not becoming… But you could be a good designer…. If you keep imroving yourself in that way…

Good luck to you with this matter…

I’ll go now to search for my Planet…

Ooops, you misunderstood me : it’s the button effect (gradient shadow) that I would eliminate and turn to a solid version (white on red). As I wrote, the shape looks nice for me.

  18. 18 by Formikula | Oct 17th, 2007 at 5:38 pm

now i checked your design with the wings.
    p.s., you missunderstood me basically.
i just tried to say that wings are a good idea. nothing more! i actually like your proposal. i also had an idea with wings. you can see it above. that´s all what i wanted to say. which not means that i think you or anybody plagiated my idea. my idea is completely different to yours, as you can see.
i think it´s a problem of this contest. anybody can see the proposals before they were judged. it unfortunately isn´t a perfect concept and makes bad mood between contributors.

    Leave it…

    Doesn’t matter..

    Good luck man…

    Formikula,

OLP is not intended to be a contest or competition,
it is intended to be an iterative collaborative process, which requires proposals to be revealed before the final judgement, so others can improve upon them.

the real problem is, that the whole OLP-thing is framed in a classical contest way, with an individual winner picked out from the crowd. This is a very crude reward function, and gets many people really pissed of, because they invest a lot of love, ideas and work and get nothing out of it, whereas others that may have built on their contributions, are rewarded in excess.

the solution to this problem would be to have a rating system very much like ebay, where designers can give each other credit, and in the end they are rewarded in proportion to the amount of credit they have accumulated, or according to some credit-food-chain starting at the winning logo … so the reward function is balanced out, and no one could blame spreadshirt for rewarding the wrong designs …

    hello shirtnerd.

maybe “contest” is the wrong word, but it tastes a bit like that.
anyway, it´s over now. :) i´m looking forward which logo´s will make it.

    so long.
