    I still loving it ! It’s a really powerfull icon. And for me it’s one of the rare design able to be a real stand alone logo.

  2. 2 by Lufograf | Oct 10th, 2007 at 5:27 pm

    But it’s also true that this logo seems not to be really friendly ! ;)

    Very professional looking - as Lufograf said it’s not very friendly looking but perhaps it doesn’t need to be?

    hey green i like it you have put the mac os background it’s kind of joke refering the last comments .. :)

    thank you guys ,
    yes , it’s not looking very friendly , but as CC said , it doesn’t need to be . (at least brief isn’t requesting something like that)
    @marakas , you caught me , so , let’s find the other joke .

    I agree this is your best one. my suggestion for improvement is the eye shape seems to be out there too much. maybe encircle the whole icon or put an ellipse around it to keep that angled perspective. or make the eye really unique and stand out more. because it just dissapears into a squint when reduced. good luck with this one.

    @jeffersonb , thank you , I’ll try that .

    It looks a bit like the Bauhaus-logo. That looks like art and is not too bad but the little black element on the left, its confusing and it will get lost in small usages.

  11. 11 by Green | Oct 10th, 2007 at 8:26 pm

    I’ve never seen their logo before , but yes , they remind each other , both of them have faces in it .

  12. 12 by ikou | Oct 10th, 2007 at 10:29 pm

    maybe bold the eye, it’s too small and lost.

  13. 13 by Green | Oct 10th, 2007 at 10:43 pm

    thanks ikou ,
    i’ve prepared a sample :

    what do you think ?
    (if the code is wrong , please correct it guys)

  14. 14 by kontrasto | Oct 11th, 2007 at 5:45 pm

    I hadn’t seen the face until reading the comments, but two shirts together… Shouldn’t it be a little bit more obvious?

  15. 15 by AlexanderWende | Oct 11th, 2007 at 6:05 pm

    I agree with the others, the eye seems to be a little bit lost out there. In the sample it is a similiar problem, maybe u could show more of the eye. I mean push it a little bit down or something like that ^^

    I like the simplicity of the logo, pretty cool one

  16. 16 by Green | Oct 11th, 2007 at 6:22 pm

    @kontrasto ;
    I understand your complaint , but wouldn’t it look so cheap if I draw a more realistic face shape ?
    (but I’ll try it anyway)

    @AlexanderWende ;
    thank you , I’ll try something about that .

    I prepared this after your comments ;

    I think the eye is still recognizable even it’s printed in smaller sizes .
    (I tried a more realistic eye shape , and lowered it , but believe me it was looking funny)

    and here’s an example (I don’t wanna upload the same work again and again , so I’m putting images here)

    I somehow like the archaic appeal that reminds me of the moai statues in the easter islands, but it still makes me feel depressive. why not have happy shirts forming a happy face?
    I just don’t see the importance of being earnest here…

  20. 20 by Green | Oct 15th, 2007 at 11:13 am

    In my point of view , the face only represents “human” , not happiness or any other mood .

    Besides that , If I would draw a happy-looking face , you might ask me a question like “Why it’s a happy face ?” or “Are people always happy ?”

    congratulations. you are in the week 7 shortlist and that´s good. maybe a bit too difficult to understand. but, anyway … i like it.

  22. 22 by Green | Oct 17th, 2007 at 10:37 am

    yes , I’ve just seen it , thanks . . .

  24. 24 by Green | Oct 17th, 2007 at 4:00 pm

    thank you Yaseera (:

    I have to agree with some here that it does not really look friendly. The spot apart from the shirt looks somehow so accidently in my eyes, and honestly I dont get it - sorry.

  26. 26 by Green | Oct 17th, 2007 at 4:29 pm

    actually that spot is an eye , thanks for concerning .
