Spreddy

Introducing: The new Spreadshirt mascot! If you want to have fans, you need a mascot. Period.

Spreddy is a dog/is a shirt - as you surely have noticed already ;)
Imagine this cute little doggy running and jumping all over the Spreadshirt website. I would have prepared something if I only had the time knew how to embed .swf in this post. ^^
Of course somone has to I would add a body and some legs to the head for the animation. For the logo it has to be simple and recognizable the “shirtdog”.

Positive comments welcome! :)

Oh damn !!! I was working on something not so far… :/
This one is nice but it seems a little too childlike to me

for me your logo expresses me a pet shop but nevertheless your graphical realization and idea are very good.

great idea with flawless execution, but i do agree with Japasa that I see more of the dog than the shirt on this one.

I appreciate your comments and I agree that my design is not as “tough” or “adult” as most of the other entries. But they somehow make me feel like I have to defend my concept :)
Take one of the most famous company mascots for example: the Michelin man. He is a symbol for tyres - a market with the manliest target group I can think of. And he doesn’t look super-tough to me.

By the way: I showed the logo to several people and asked them what they see. They all saw the dog AND the shirt. Without any hint from me.

I think, the idea of using a mascot is the right way and the shown one is very friendly.
I have no problem to see both - dog and shirt - and the clear form is easy to remind, too.
All in all a good solution.
