(Update: I tweaked the colors to really commit to the idea of the label and tag forming an orange and leaf.)
I gave it a second try. Taking elements from my first attempt and revamping the concept, I came up with this new logo.
The main idea behind this logo is that the hanging tag forms an S which is next to the plain white shirt signifying the company name Spread Shirt. Both the tag and the white shirt are blank which is a reminder of the customers role in customizing their own shirt and label.
The shape of the white shirt came from taking nuances from both of the fonts used in the logo. (i.e. The curves of the main title combined with the bold o of the tagline)
Also, the tag and shirt combo forms an orange and leaf signifying freshness, youth, and creativity that is vital to the companys image.
