“Build your own label” was mainly inspired by TETRIS & LEGO which are as well based on a squarish component.
I’ll try to explain my thoughts:
The blue field (the upper side of the logo)represent the costumer who build his label(ip,itcan also represent a press work) on the Shirt (grey side).
The other sidestands forSPREADSHIRT which is giving u a creative base for your ideas/work. The “i” of the word”SHIRT” is an exclamation point which represent the ip of the individual or his opinion. (possibly you can also see the three points as an exclamation pointin the logo)
The logo can stand on its own, it represent the above mentioned ideas as well as the label idea… (the white point in the blue fieldrepresent the costumer/a label cut hole)
Feel free to comment my work, ur feedback is very welcome!
(excuse my english;)

this is nice! i’ve thought about doing something with lego and pixel and heart, but u’ve done a good job! the only thing is the typeface for the tagline is not that “pixel-y” as the spread shirt. try and change it? try “fixedsys” font, or anything similar.
i agree with xumb , you must type the tagline with a pixelized font . other than that it’s a great logo .
My ambition was to create something that looks like it was “stacked” just like in tetris or lego. Like a child play with lego and where the creativity flows .
But I can’t deny an pixellook, otherwise the style is really flexible to use (like the heart for example). You have one element (a small square) with that element u can create almost everything u want (like in Lego). So thats why I create this both fonts instead of an pixelated one (also for the simplicity).
The hole Logo and both Fonts are based on a square.
Thanks for feedback guys I appreciate that ^^
i understand your point of view , that’s true , “your own label” font is based on a square too , but I think it’s a different style . anyway , it’s your decision (:
The name Spreadshirt seems to be cut in half due to that white line in the middle.
(Well my subjective opinion anyway).
But I like the idea, it’s cute.
I have got classic computer games in mind when I first see this logo
