*Updated 5pm 04/09* - New variants as promised.
After the first tagshirt didn’t make it to the shortlist (boo!) but only just missed out (yay!), I’ve given it a re-think to make it much neater and crisper. Colour alternatives below.

Also added is a little variation, with the tag actually hanging from the ‘p’ of spreadshirt. Let me know which you prefer…

As promised, a few new variations. the first is two other fonts I dithered over – the first is quite ‘friendly’ looking, the second has a bit of character. The second image is me trying the spread and shirt on different lines – while I like the fact that the logo lines up with shirt (so it looks like ‘T-shirt’ on the second line), I’m not totally convinced. I still prefer the neatness of the first version.

this is my favourite! absolutely.
Definitly one of my favorites in the “simple but nice” section. Works really good with the different colors, and the tags attached to the p is just adorable.
Yep, very nice, great concept with the P. My only question is if its distinctive and memorable enough, maybe its the typo that needs the work now to give it more impact.
I like the tag hanging on the “p”. What a great idea!
I’m with Adam… possibly play with the typo, but then again, this is crisp. And Spread and Shirt are distinct.
Hanging P tag is brill. simple, clever, its a gold star for you Dazzler!

I like the hanging tag, too. I think the typo works fine, maybe you could play with the form of the tag sign instead, perhaps make it round or diamond shape or something like that? Don’t go changing too much though!
I must admit I prefer this font out of all I’ve tested, as it’s modern-yet-clean. However I’ll put a few alternatives up in a sec.
I also tried a few different formats with bigger separation between ’spread’ and ’shirt’, these will go up shortly too.
Cheers for the comments folks – keep em coming, it’s all helpful…

I like the simplicity of your logo and it really looks nice.
My concern is not only with your logo but with everyone using a tag like you. Besides me thinking using a label while writing “label” in the logo is quite cheesy, most of the times this looks to me like a price tag attached to the product. This will communicate price or costs to many viewers, because everyone knows that element from going to a store and deciding if the price is okay to buy or not. Even if spreadshirt is low priced, things like “price” or “buying” should not be the first thing to be communicated I think.
If you decide that this is still ok for you to communicate please go ahead with the label next to the font. Attaching it to the p like this looks a little unfortunate.
Hum, interesting angle. For me when done right the label isn’t cheesy. I also think it works to have it attached to the p, it didn’t make me think price, but if it did you then maybe its an issue. What does everyone else think?
I know I’m biased, but I didn’t see it as a price tag I must admit. I still can’t.
in front of the “spredshirt” it doesn’t look like a pricetag but hanging on the “p” it looks like a pricetag or an brand-tag
